Make Your Heart Strong & Healthy


This week's Weight Loss Challenge topic is heart health. There are 3 key components to making your heart healthy.


  1. EXERCISE - Find something you enjoy doing and do it. Try for 30 minutes per day. Definitely get a mix of cardio and strength training. For a combo of both in ONE Workout check out: http://www.youtube.com/user/tcambio17

  2. EAT Well - include lean protein, healthy fats water and lots of fruits & veggies! Get lots of colors in too! Schedule 4-5 regular meals.

  3. SLEEP - 8 hours a day is recommended :)

  4. Supplements - Since it is often difficult to get all the nutrients you need from food alone, I recommend supplements. For heart health, supplements can fill the gap in your diet. Call or email me for options.

We have over 100,000 miles of arteries, veins and capillaries in our bodies - blood needs to flow freely! If it doesn't it could lead to heart attacks or strokes.


17 million people die of heart disease each year. There are 1.2 million heart attacks in the U.S. each year, so take care of your heart!
